A faucet cartridge is the internal mechanism that controls water flow and temperature in single-handle and many two-handle faucets. Over time, cartridges wear out, causing drips, difficulty adjusting temperature, or reduced flow.

Can a faucet cause low water pressure?

Robert did an excellent job reviewing our home's annual plumbing maintenance needs (our first since purchasing the home). The inspection was thorough and professional, including the annual water heater flushing. The inspection found a few areas of wear in the 15-year-old fixtures, most of which we were already aware of, and all consistent with a previous rental home in Oklahoma.
